Official Hotel
The Embassy Suites - Fort Lauderdale is located only two miles from the Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport. Walk from the hotel to restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other stores.
Main Facility
Located approximately 30 minutes from the official hotel, the Fernandez Family Center on the campus of St. Thomas University is the official competition site for the Cruzin Classic.
We recommend all teams and fans to fly into Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). The reason is the Fort Lauderdale airport is only 4 miles from the hotel. FYI – Miami International Airport (MIA) is about 40 minutes from the hotel and West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is about 60 minutes from the hotel. Both of those time estimates are based on no traffic issues on the interstates. Traffic congestion or construction zones can easily happen and make those times a lot longer.
This is a great question and one that deserves attention. Please note that our event offers teams a long date range to choose from. This means that not all teams are traveling on the same dates. Thus, if your coach has not already provided you with the dates, you should contact he/she for the correct dates your team is traveling. Sometimes a coach may say they are not sure because they are waiting on the game schedule to be finalized. If this is the case, all we can say is that we will post game schedule information on our site as soon as possible.
Parking is free at St. Thomas University.
Ticket prices are subject to change, but are currently $10 per person, with 12 and under free.
